Throughout the semester a number of events and social gatherings are planned for new transfer students. These events are designed to help you enjoy your time at CSU while meeting other new students and making connections. We hope to see you at our events this semester!

Join Our Transfer Programs @ CSU Discord
Are you looking for a virtual space to meet and hang out with other transfer students? Then join our Transfer Programs Discord server! Here you can interact with other transfer students, your TTLs, and learn about different opportunities and events that are happening around CSU. If you are interested in joining our discord, please fill out this Google Form, and we will send you an invite to our server!

Transfer Student Kickoff
Sunday, August 21st from 4:00-6:00 pm
Spring Park in Fort Collins
Join Transfer Programs @ CSU and your Transfer Transition Leaders in Spring Park in Fort Collins for some lawn games and free food! We hope to you’ll join us for our kickoff to the start of the Fall semester!

First Friday Gallery Art Walk & Walrus Ice Cream Social
Friday, September 2nd from 5:00-7:00 pm
Old Town Fort Collins
It’s time to explore Fort Collins! This town has many different places to check out, including one of its staples, Walrus Ice Cream located in the Old Town area. Join the TTLs and other new transfer students as they enjoy the sights of Old Town while learning a little bit about what Fort Collins has to offer! Also, make sure to check out First Friday Art Walk, which is where 22 of Old Town’s finest galleries, museums, and art-minded shops stay open late for new showcases, interactive displays, and artist talks during this self-guided walking tour. Transfer Tuesdays – DoSomething at the Involvement Expo

As part of Transfer Programs @ CSU, we want to celebrate you all as transfer students while also helping you get involved on campus! As part of this, come find our table at the Involvement Expo to learn more about how to get connected with other offices campus who can help you in your transition. You can also grab some free giveaways on us!

Fort Collins Food Truck Rally
Tuesday, September 13th from 5:30-7:30 pm
City Park in Fort Collins
Looking to get involved in the Fort Collins community? Then join your TTLs and other transfer students as part of the Fort Collins Food Truck Rally. This event takes place in one of our local parks and has free music for all to listen to. Make sure to check out the awesome food trucks in the area too!

Transfer Mountain Experience
Saturday, October 8th through Sunday, October 9th
CSU Mountain Campus
As a transfer student, Transfer Programs @ CSU offers a retreat up at the CSU Mountain Campus this fall, where you can engage with other transfer students. Join us for a weekend with the changing of the leaves, opportunity to participate in the high ropes course, a hike in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and time away from campus. Learn more HERE!

Transfer Tuesdays – Pizza Party with TILT Academic Services
Tuesday, October 11th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm
TILT Grand Ballroom
To continue our Transfer Tuesday tradition, join us in a pizza party while learning more about what TILT has to offer. During this time, we will be celebrating Homecoming Week, teaching you more about academic support services, and giving you all items to use during the CSU Homecoming game!

Outdoor Adventures – Intro to Rock Climbing
Sunday, October 16th All Day
Horsetooth Reservoir Open Space
This trip is designed to introduce students to the sport of rock climbing by experiencing one of the best local climbing areas. Participants do not need any prior climbing experience to register for this trip. Spend the day learning a new sport, experiencing the great outdoors, and engaging with other transfer students. Learn more HERE!

Transfer Tuesday – Mental Health and Wellbeing
Tuesday, November 1st from 11:00 am-1:00 pm
Lory Student Center Sutherland Garden
Is the stress of finals and exams getting you down? Then come join the CSU Health Network during our final Transfer Tuesday of the semester. We will have some tables out in the Sutherland Garden with opportunities to help you destress. Who knows, we might even have some cool prizes to give away!
