Outdoor Experiences

Transfer Programs @ CSU, Campus Recreation Outdoor Programs and the CSU Mountain Campus have partnered to create outdoor experiences for transfer students!  These programs provide transfer students the opportunity to connect with other transfer students and experience the northern Colorado outdoors.

Outdoor program trips have a cost associated with them. If you are interested in participating in one of these programs and have concerns about the cost of the trip, please email tsfrpgms@colostate.edu to discuss options!

Fall 2022 Experiences

Transfer Mountain Experience | Sat. October 8 – Sun. October 9

Experience the outdoors at Colorado State University’s Mountain Campus! On this trip transfer students will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful Rocky Mountains with a full day hiking, ropes courses, and community building. This trip is a great chance to both experience CSU’s Mountain Campus and meet other transfer students.  Students will stay in cabins for the weekend so no tents required. The Mountain Campus is located 50 miles west of campus at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Comanche Peak Wilderness.
