Ram Orientation for International Students Process

Ram Orientation for International Students is a 4 step process:

Step 1: Register for Ram Orientation for International Students

Using your CSU eName and password, sign in to our Orientation Reservations system to register for Ram Orientation for International Students on Tuesday, January 10th and Wednesday, January 11th. There is also a section for you to fill out with any Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), or Dual Enrollment courses you have taken and the scores you earned (or anticipate earning this year). Be sure to fill out this section as fully as possible to ensure the most helpful Academic Advising and Course Registration experience.

Step 2: Complete the Required Orientation Modules

The Required Orientation modules are now open. You will receive a direct link to your CSU email account inbox with information about how to access and complete the Required Orientation modules. These online modules will provide you with information you need to know before meeting with your Academic Advisor or Academic Success Coordinator to register for classes. You must complete these online modules before moving on to Step 3: Advising and Course Registration.

Step 3: Schedule an Academic Advising and Course Registration Appointment

The final page of your Required Orientation modules will provide you with information about how to schedule an Academic Advising and Course Registration appointment with your academic college. You are responsible for using the contact information provided in the Required Orientation modules to schedule your own appointment.

Note: You will not be able to register for classes until you have fully completed the Required Orientation modules

Step 4: Attend On-Campus Ram Orientation for International Students

The final step of the International Student Orientation process is to attend the on-campus Ram Orientation for International Students session on Tuesday, January 10th and Wednesday, January 11th. During this 2-day program, you will learn about Immigration Information, U.S. Laws and Campus Safety, the CSU Health Network, meet other new International Students, get a campus tour, and more. Attendance on both days is required.

Note: Academic Advising and Course Registration are not a part of Ram Orientation for International Students session on January 10th and 11th. You are responsible for using the contact information provided in the Required Orientation modules to schedule your own appointment and meet with your advisor before you arrive at CSU.
